On 28th March I am running the Liverpool Half Marathon for CHICS. When my son Ewan was diagnosed with leukaemia just before his 4th birthday, and 6 weeks after his brother Hayden was born, our families` world was turned upside down. CHICS is a fantastic North West based charity which helped us through the difficult 3 years and 4 months of Chemotherapy that followed. They understand that cancer affects the whole family and provided support and treats that helped distract not just Ewan but his siblings as well. Thankfully Ewan is now completely well but many other families are going through the same difficult journey and CHICS are there to help them through.
This is my first half marathon and I need all the insentive to complete the training and the run itself, so PLEASE sponsor me to help me get there!!
