I am raising money for the East Cheshire Hospice in recognition of the invaluable care my wonderful loving friend Helen received there through the last few years of her life and especially at its end.
For anyone who has experienced the value of a hospice, you will understand my pledge to raise money - enough to cover the costs of running the hospice for one day ... £6000!
I realise that this is a high target but it is something that Helen and I talked about and I am determined to continue fundraising through as many other events as it takes until I reach my goal.
