Story

Firstly, thanks for making it this far!

Having been Medically evacuated from Afghanistan (Twice!!!), I know we come home with nothing. Troop Aid ensure that we have the basics we need to get us through our trip home and our first days in the UK before our loved ones arrive.

I arrived at the QE hospital with nothing but what i was wearing, Troop Aid provided wash kit, clothes and many other bits and pieces I needed to make the whole process that little bit easier. It sounds daft, but when so much is going on, you're tired, confused, have been travelling for days, injured or poorly then a set of clean clothes and a hot shower/wash and someone to talk to can make such a difference.

This whole thing started with the Edinburgh half marathon, but then it escalated! Now it's skydiving in January, Edinburgh half in May, Santa Run in December - who hasnt always wanted to run through Oxford dressed as a reindeer?!? And now i'm signed up to 'tough mudder' in October! Then there is the London Colour run in July and the Electric Run in June, I'm going to do the monster swim in August, which is openwater swimming across Loch Ness! Kelly & I also intend to do a monopoly cycle around London on 14/15th of March visiting all the streets on the gameboard in order using 'Borris Bikes' who knows we may even dress up as the man himself!

Please help me support this charity who quietly get on with this work making us all that little bit more comfortable in our time of need.

Whilst the big things are important in getting us back on our feet - its the little things which gets us back to normal, TroopAid - I can't thank you enough for your help.
