Story

This August myself and a group of friends are cycling from Lands End to John O Groats after a drunken idea materialized into this massive challenge! We will be cycling 1066 miles in total, approximately 80 miles per day. There are 13 people in our team, of which six of us are attempting it on Tandems.

Myself and my friend Trish were completing the ride on a tandem bike called Flo!! But due to an injury from another member of the team who sadly had to drop out of the ride- we are now riding a trandem (3 person bike!!!)

I will be raising money for the Lymphoma association for my partners dad - Trevor. Trevor was diagnosed with lymphoma in June 2005 and responded well to chemotherapy and went into remission just over a year later. In January 2010 Trevor's lymphoma came back prompting the doctors to explore alternative methods of treatment. In October 2010 Trevor started a stem cell treatment and spent only two weeks in hospital making him the quickest transplant patient UCLH have seen. In March 2011 doctors found small traces of the cancer in Trevor's lymph nodes and are currently treating him with radiotherapy. Trevor is a very strong man and will continue to fight- Love you loads Trev!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.
