I hope that you will dig deep and donate now to help 'push' me around the 10 mile course in Portsmouth on Sunday 25 October.  Although some of you will know that I occasionally don a pair of trainers and force myself out on to the streets of London to balance out my chocolate and crisp eating bad habits, I have to confess that I have never walked 10 miles let alone run that distance! 

I have recently become involved with the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust and when they launched ‘Kelly’s Charity Runners’, as a means of fundraising, it sounded like a fantastic opportunity for me to support them further.
