Story

BIG Thank you to everyone who sponsored me, I raised just under £180 but with gift aid it took it over £200. I really can't thank you enough.

As some of you will already know, I managed a grand total of 12 lengths in just under 50 minutes, I had a hour but this body just wouldn't go beyond the 12 lengths. But I now know what to do every day to help the sleeping problem, swim until I cannot go any further and do it 2 days running, I then slept for 2 hours straight without waking up.. :-)

Seriously though I cannot tell you all how overwelmed I felt when I worked out how much you sponsored me, I truly feel remarkable to have friends and family like you. Thank you again.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I realise money is tight for everyone at the moment but please if you could spare £5 or even £10 I would be extremely grateful.

I have been volunteered to swim with the Disabled swimming club at Newport Pagnel, I will be part of a team but we hope to swim a minimum of 100 lengths in an hour, which will equate to about 15-20 lengths for me. This will be a huge achievement for me so please help.

As most of you know I had spinal surgery 7 years ago and since then I have had ongoing problems with my back and legs. Swimming has become a theraputic release for me, I now exercise twice a week with the club and the benefits are great.

We are raising money for the Ratary Club who in turn sponsor the folowing :

Willen Hospice, MK Age UK, Community Cardiac Group, MK Museum, REMAP, The Mayors Charity, City Counselling Centre.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
