We adopted our greyhound Caleb from Greyhound Lifeline 3 years ago, and seeing how many dogs need a home after retiring from racing (or getting injured)  has inspired me to fundraise for this charity. Greyhounds are wonderful, affectionate dogs and there are so many of them in dog shelters around the country. I would highly recommend adopting a greyhound as a pet (although if you have cats or other small furry animals i would proceed with caution...!) so please help me raise money for this wonderful charity and find homes for all the greyhounds who just want someone to love them (and an armchair to take over).
