Greater Manchester Marathon 2013 · 28 April 2013 ·

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust Charity aims to support and improve services provided at Wythenshawe Hospital. The Charity provides additional equipment and services to enhance patient and carer experience and provide funding for high quality, innovative research programmes.

Story

I am running my third marathon end of April 2013 and I was asked by a fellow Helsby RC runner, Jane Ashbrook, if I would like to help a charity  that helps Adult Cystic Fibrosis sufferers.   At the same time Jane asked me, my Great Aunt Betty had recently passed away.  I went to her funeral and was very touched by how humble and selfless she had been in her life, especially as tragically, she had lost her beloved daughter Rosemary age 16, to Cystic Fibrosis.  So, it felt apt to help raise funds for this Charity, Manchester Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre.

Please, if you can, just donate a few pound, it doesn't have to be much, every pound makes a difference.
