Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My mother in law Jean sadly died from Breast cancer and I am convinced that continued support for breast cancer research will have a major impact on saving lives in the future.
After running the London marathon twice before for Children's wish, Breakthrough Breast cancer and the Bristol Stroke unit, my own health has suffered through running the above, but I am determined to continue to help make a difference, so I am now walking from London to Brighton which is 100 kilometers (62 miles)in 24 to 30 hours on May 24th/25th 2014, for Breakthrough Breast Cancer research.
I am sure many of us know someone that has been effected by this terrible disease and I hope that you will donate generously to this very worthy cause. You can donate online or by contacting me directly on 07977 007567.
Every day 130 UK women are diagnosed with Breast Cancer and every day Breakthrough spend £25,000 on preventative research. 32 women will die today from Breast Cancer, that is12,000 women every year, these are our mothers, sisters, loved ones and friends! Men are also effected, around 80 men died in 2011 from Breast Cancer and although much less, this is still serious and unacceptable.
