Maureen was well known to many in the music business through her career as Repertoire Promotion Manager at Oxford University Press. She was a subtle and persuasive advocate of contemporary music, especially over a glass of red wine!  Others will remember her as a fine soprano singing with many groups including the Brompton Oratory choir. After retiring with her beloved husband Michael to the South of France she set up a community choir in the village of Puissalicon which gained a remarkable regional reputation.  Maureen died in Beziers Hospital on Thursday 6 January just four months after Michael.
