For someone who hasn't ever really ridden a bicycle the thought of riding 54 miles to Brighton seems ridiculous!  However I really believe in the cause; it has personally touched me a few times in my life and I felt compelled to do my bit. 

Off to Halfords to buy a helmet and some lycra :-)
