Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My daughter Ella was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when she was 11 months old and she is now 11 years old.  When the photo above was taken she had already started twice daily injections - scares me to think how we all managed!

On a daily basis she has to inject herself at least 4 times a day, count carbs and have regular visits to the hospital - none of which anyone let alone a child should have to do.  My big hope for Ella is one day they find a cure for Type 1 and by doing the GNR I feel like I am doing a small bit to help.

There are 4 of us running for this great charity so we would be grateful of your support.

Thanks everyone

Helen, Catherine, Julie, Nina and Dave
