I am attempting a mini triathlon... for anyone who has ever met me this will be surprising! I agree. But my darling friend Tam taught me to seek joy in everything. Beautiful, kind and brilliant Tam left us far too early this year, and I will be doing this sporty thing with her and her family in my heart. I have no doubt she would think it an utterly ridiculous plan - especially the unflattering lycra - but I would like to raise some money for pancreatic cancer research as it is one the most lethal but most underfunded cancers.
