Story
My brother Chris persuaded us to sign up for this trip. Its three times further than we've ever cycled before. And we've only got small wheels.
The trip involves cycling from central London to Newhaven, catching an overnight ferry that arrives at ~4am, then cycling 2 days in France until we reach Paris. (So obviously, we're not cycling the whole way as that would involve having James Bond amphibious bikes. And being able to breathe underwater. Which we can't. But the bit on land is still a long way.)
Our current average speed is about 7.5 miles/hour, so we'll be bringing up the rear. But we're still aiming to keep going to the end! Did we mention it's a long way?
We're raising money for a good cause. (All of the money we raise goes to the British Heart Foundation.) Please donate!
