Story

Hello Everyone :)

What better way to mark 1 year of me being a healthy Gym Goer than to power walk the London Marathon... at midnight... in a bra... Hmm. And even better, to raise money for breast cancer at the same time! Last year you helped me raise over £200 for Marie Curie in aid of breast cancer for completing a 5km swim (thank you all for your donations!). This year we are upping the anti, walking 26.2 miles (which is 42.16km!!) - more than 8 times the distance.

I am lucky enough to have the support from my Muma and Sister who are doing it with me, but at the same time I would really appreciate your generous donations. Not only will this help motivate and support me but it will help vital breast cancer causes - ones which are mostly likely to make the biggest difference. Check out http://www.walkthewalk.org/AboutUs/OurHistory for the full story!

I know it's tough times at the moment, but every penny makes a difference. Any donations are welcome and we really appreciate your help. Tell your friends, colleagues and family! Please get sponsoring and in the meantime, we'll get walking. At the moment I've only walked for 1 hour, going just under 4 miles so have a long way to go and a lot of hard work yet!

Thanks :)
