As you know Helen had a Road Traffic Accident on Friday the 8th of July and sadly she passed away on Saturday morning. When Jenni, John, Rich and me discussed the upcoming funeral, we thought that we rather wanted people to support a charity instead of spending money on flowers. We found out that Helen didn't support a particular charity - she supported loads!
We have chosen BASICS Hampshire as these remarkable people were (and are) there to help. BASICS is not funded by the NHS in any way whatsoever. The members (doctors and nurses) volunteer to attend accidents and medical emergencies at the request of the Ambulance Service.
