Brighton Marathon 2013 · 14 April 2013 ·

We believe in families, not orphanages. We’re helping Uganda reimagine care so that no child anywhere need ever experience an orphanage again. We help repurpose orphanages into services that people really need, keeping families together, reuniting families or finding new ‘forever families’.

Story

It’s been 5 years since I ran my last marathon and as I come up for air I wonder where that time has gone. Sometimes we get on to the treadmill of life, where things are getting faster and faster and we do our best to keep up with it. We’re in our own little bubble almost. Taking care of loved ones, business/career, health and fitness, personal wealth etc. I feel so incredibly fortunate to have all that I have in life, wonderful  family, friends, amazing career, health & wellness and abundance of everything. Sometimes we forget about what else is going on in the world.

I choose to fund raise for Child's i Foundation because of their founder Lucy; her values and the values of the foundation which they live and breathe. Their model is making a massive difference. Every penny raised is ploughed in to the charity. It's transparent, it's doing things differently and building a community. I have seen for myself the incredible work Lucy and her team are doing every day.

Child's i foundation make families not orphans and needs your ongoing support. So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks in advance for all of your support.
