Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Helixion's JustGiving page.

As I am sure many of you are aware we enjoy anything cycling related here at Helixion! What better way to get it out of our systems than to get onto our bikes and ride 67 miles to St Andrews in the name of charity and general hilarity.

LEPRA continue to work towards combating leprosy and now also other diseases of poverty including malaria, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and lymphatic filariasis. They believe that there is little point in someone being cured of leprosy if they are then to die of another treatable or preventable disease.

We would appreciate it if you could donate something towards Lepra who have organised this ride.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Today 600 people will be diagnosed with leprosy, almost 50 will be children. We work with communities in Bangladesh, India and Zimbabwe to cure and care for people affected by leprosy. With your help, we can give more people this life-changing support. Together we can beat leprosy.
