The Cure Parkinson's Trust is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's.  Founded by four people with the condition, the Trust has directed more than £2.5 million into research in five years.  This investment has produced some astonishing results and for the first time there is a glimmer of hope that new treatments will be available in the coming years.  The science is out there to potentially reverse Parkinson's.  It is our job to make this happen in the shortest time possible.

Since 2006 The Cure Parkinson's Trust has supported the development of a delivery system which is being used in a new clinical study in Bristol using GDNF.  GDNF is a growth factor which shows the potential to regenerate the cells that have been affected by Parkinson’s in the brain, effectively reversing the condition.
