Hello and welcome to my JustGiving page!

In September of 2013, I will be going to Bangladesh to volunteer for 12 weeks with VSO - ICS. During my time there I will be working with local people to address the following key issues:

- food security & market access
- primary healthcare rights & access to water
- water, sanitation & hygiene

I am beyond excited to go, but before I can do so, I need YOUR help! VSO - ICS sends thousands of young people (like myself) to some of the world's most deprived countries. The volunteers do some amazing work - all with the purpose to better the lives of the people abroad. The government funds 95% of the money needed to send us abroad, the other 5% is raised by the volunteers themselves. Thus, I need to fundraise £800 in order to sustain these programmes.

I will be doing some fundraising events until I leave. In the meantime, this is the easiest and fastest way to donate.
