Story
What: the London Marathon 2010
When: 25th April
Why: support two incredibly important causes
Target: under 4 hours and 13 minutes - £2000+
My timing is not good I know, as you'll undoubtedly have received at least one or two requests to part with your cash in the last few weeks either for the very same event or in support of other brilliant activities all for very worthwhile causes.
I'm hoping that you'll consider backing something different this time as the main charity I am representing provides important support to those affected by a condition I have unfortunately witnessed first hand. Depression in young people, men in particular is an issue that is lacking in understanding and which can often lead to devastating results when left unrecognised and treated. The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust seeks to raise awareness and provide action for those affected, and for their families and friends.
My fundraising target for the CWMT is £2000, anything I manage to raise in excess of this, will be donated to the Royal Marsden Hospital. Over the last few years, and in particularly the last few months, I have seen how the incredible staff, doctors and nurses provide essential care, comfort and support to those in greatest need, and those who face breast cancer and the devastation it brings.
Please help me raise as much as I can by taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it's the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now - thank you, no donation is too small and will provide me with all the motivation I need on the day.
