On Saturday 22nd September I will be talking part in the 'Fan Dance' as part of an event to raise money for Coram Children's charity.
The Fan Dance is part of the Fitness and Navigation phase of the selection process for the United Kingdom's Special Forces. It's staged over Pen y Fan, the highest mountain in the Brecon Beacons and is a 15-mile (24 km) load bearing march, it is used as the first major indicator of whether a candidate has the physical and mental aptitude to complete the selection course.
Coram is the UK children's charity that has been supporting vulnerable children for 279 years, and is still finding new ways to help children. We now help around 1.4 million children and young people every year.
