As a tribute to a beautiful & loving wife, mother and grandma Julie Douglas, who was taken from us too soon, I am undertaking a gruelling trek to the Everest Base Camp in October this year.
I would like to raise money for the Oasis Room at Wansbeck General Hospital, which we found an invaluable source of comfort during Julie's last days with us. The room is a place for much needed respite when a family member is coming to the end of their life and relies solely on charitable donations.
