The 'Last of the summer wine' team previously completed it 2009 in fairly unusual fashion when we flew it north-south aboard our paramotors. We, Henry (aka Clegg ) and Brian (aka Compo) and John (aka Foggy) and Alex (aka Seymour), finished the trip in 5 days much to our surprise. We were very happy with our success but were aware we had missed out on a great opportunity to raise some money for charity.

We can now banish such thoughts are we are attempting it again, this time on wheels, foregoing the comfort of our flying machines for the discomfort of our bicycles.

We aim to set off from Lands End on aound 13th April 2012 and complete the trip in 14 days (ish) and endeavour to raise some much needed funding for our favourite charities.   In my case this is the East Anglian Childrens Hospices.
