Revolution Cycle Tour · 9 May 2010

Church Mission Society began in 1799 with a group of Christians, including William Wilberforce, who said yes to Jesus’ call to follow him to the edges. Today, in that same pioneering spirit, we continue to share Jesus’ love at the edges – working in over 40 countries across the world and in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This is a fund raising cycle ride for the new CMS to celebrate the integration with SAMS. I'm only doing the first day of the tour - 40 miles from Hull to York - after preaching at St Columba's, Hull, on Sunday morning 9th May. So there's not much time left to sponsor me. But as it explains below, you can do it by the click of a mouse!

I have been trying to train by cycling to work most days (16 miles round trip), but month of April was messed up by a trip to the USA and Brazil and a delay of 5 days in Miami owing to volcanic ash! So I'm not fit any more and need all the encouragement you can give.

Each evening of the tour there is a service at a church to celebrate the new CMS and look forward to Pentecost and our big celebration in Oxford -DAY 50. Many more details on the CMS website: http://www.cms-uk.org/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
