Chantal and I decided that with the Olympics taking place in 2012 that we ought to do our bit for British Sport this year. We have entered the Brighton Marathon taking place on 15 April 2012 and are running for the marathon’s principal charity “The Sussex Beacon”. Brighton is a place that is very special in our hearts as it was where we did our training for the 2008 London Marathon and we have many a fond memory of running knee deep in mud in the downs with a bunch of very inspirational runners.

This time round it looks like it may be a bit tougher for us. With two young children, finding the time to train is difficult but we are determined to get round (time is perhaps not the most important factor this year)!

We would really appreciate your support emotionally and financially as we train for this gruelling run. We would love to see you down in Brighton on the day if you feel like coming along to cheer us on.
