Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
In November 2011 at the annual Get A-Head Charity Ball an entry for the London Marathon was auctioned to raise money and three local businesses (ehB Residential (Edward Bromwich) Bromwich Hardy (Tom Bromwich) & Heritage Property (Richard Hill) bid £3000 for the entry for their colleague Iain Critchlow to run to raise more money for Get A-Head. By the time Iain completed the 2012 Marathon an additional £5000 had been raised thanks to his efforts and other people's generosity.
As a thank you for his efforts Iain, and his wife Jenny, attended the ball again last November and this time Richard Hill (Heritage Property) & Kyle Truman (epyx) bid £1500 on the silent auction for the entry for the 2013 London Marathon which Iain has kindly offered to run again! (not withstanding that both Richard & Kyle were both devastated as the date clashed with their busy diaries!)
So, please could we ask for your help to raise more money for this wonderful cause please?
Get A-Head is an independent cancer charity based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
Its Mission: to raise money to help people and their families suffering from head and neck cancer and other diseases of the head and neck.
With over £4 million already raised, we have made great progress in reaching our goals but we still need to raise funds to reduce patient’s suffering, finance vital research, purchase specialist medical equipment and to continue to support patients and their families throughout the UK. Please be generous and help us with this worthy cause as very penny counts in our fight against these diseases.
