Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I will be participating in the Zip Line challenge by Penny Appeal, in order to raise money for the victims of Cyclone Idai.

Brief description of what happened:

"Cyclone Idai has triggered a massive disaster in southern Africa. 3 million people in Mozambique, Malawi and Zimbabwe are impacted by flooding, of which around half are children.

In Mozambique, families and children are desperately fighting for survival, trapped in their homes and fleeing to rooftops. Others have been forced out of their flooded homes, and now lack basic supplies including food, water and sanitation." (www.unicef.org.uk)

How does your donation help:

It will "provide clean water which will save lives, medical supplies for the injured and food and other essentials for people who have lost everything." (pennyappeal.org)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
