St Nicholas Hospice Care is a local charity based in West Suffolk and Thetford, serving our community since 1984. As a charity, we believe everyone matters in life and death, and we strive for something better for those facing dying, death and grief.

Story

Mark and I are putting down our mojitos and picking up our walking boots in an attempt to scale Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough within 12 hours. The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is a total of 24.5 miles (39.2km) long and takes in over 5,000 feet (1,600 metres) of climbing ... we will be taking up the challenge on Saturday 12th May!

In February 2012 we lost a very close friend to cancer at the age of 31, she would of laughed at the thought of us attempting 1 peak never mind 3!! She was the life and sole of the party and we would like to do this in her honour. We have chosen St Nicholas Hospice as they supported and cared for her and her family.

We would love to hit our £1,000 target - please donate what you can, every penny is much appreciated!
