The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust is the main recipient of the Round the Island Race, and it is also The Nicholson 31 Association nominated charity. Last year was our tenth anniversary year, and as the Hon. Tres. of the Nic 31 Assoc., I was privileged to donate £500 to this cancer trust. This year we hope to raise a little less but have some fun racing 1500 other yachts around the Isle of Wight!

We are trying to do the course in my old Nic 31 in under 8 hours as a target. Most get round in about 10 hours, so we will not be cruising!
