LV= Manchester Broker is raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
On the 18th August 2018 LV= Manchester (and Friends) will join
together and attempt to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.
We are doing this to show our support for our friend and
colleague Helen Hulme who many of you know is bravely battling cancer and in true Helen fashion with a big brave smile. We are trying to raise as much money for Macmillan Cancer Care who Helen has praised for being very supportive in her battle with this terrible disease, which many of us will have been touched in some way by it
- Macmillan Cancer Care – who provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles (38.6km), which
includes the ascent of each of the 3 highest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales (Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough) and attempt to complete in under 12 hours.
