I inTENd to run 10 races in 2013 to raise £1,000 for Chestnut Tree House, which celebrates its 10th Birthday this year! So that's lots of multiples of 10...so please feel free to sponsor me in multiples of 10!! Only joking - any amount is hugely appreciated by all the children and families that are supported by Chestnut Tree House. See below for more info on CTH and the races I'll be running, but in short, its 3 marathons, 3 half marathons, 3 10Ks and a 10 miler! And, btw, 2 of the marathons are only a week apart, which is quite hard actually *sniff*

Chestnut Tree House is the only children's hospice in Sussex and we currently support over 280 life-limited children and their families in Sussex and South East Hampshire. It costs over £2.5 million to run the hospice every year, and we only receive 8% funding from central government. All our services are provided free of charge to the children and their families. Here's an idea of what your money can buy:

£285 will pay for one hour of all care services provided by Chestnut Tree House.

£157 allows a member of our Community Care Support Team to care for a life-limited child in the child's home.

£40 will cover the costs of a session with our Bereavement Counsellor

£35 will enable a child to experience a magical hour in the multi-sensory room with a specially trained member of staff.

£4.75 pays for one minute of care services at Chestnut Tree House (this may not seem like much to pay for, but every minute of everyone's life counts.)

Please, please give whatever you can - Chestnut Tree House is a place full of life and laughter: it seems that however poorly the children are, they never fail to be happy and smile!

26/01 IceMan 16K in Frimley, Surrey; 17/02 Brighton Half Marathon; 03/03 Eastbourne Half Marathon; 14/04 Brighton Marathon; 05/05 Leatherhead Bluebell 10K; 08/06 RW Trailblazer (Kent) 10K; 15/09 Coastal 10K; 29/09 Barns Green Half Marathon; 26/10 Beachy Head Marathon; 03/11 Rutland Water Marathon.
