I have been a part of the Event team for this walk since it started in 2016. I got involved because my Gran, Annie was living with Alzheimer's.

Sadly we lost Gran in January this year and so the walk is more poignant than ever.

So this year the challenge of walking a half marathon distance is for the memory of my beloved Gran, Annie Nyquist.
