This is how our Story began..

Five months ago we signed up to the slightly mad idea of cycling from Bristol to Paris over 4 days ending triumphantly at the Eiffel Tower via the Champs-Elysee.  And it is true to say that if it hadn't been for work, A levels and various other commitments we could have trained a little more for this!

Still, the Carden spirit is strong so the body is going to have to put up with it!  We will be there at 7.30am on Saturday 3rd July 2010 to join our fellow mad cyclists (35 of them) as we set out for Poole on the first leg of our ride, a distance of 76 miles.  Day 2 starts with an early morning ferry crossing to Cherbourg then the "scenic" route to Bayeux.  Day 3 takes us to Bernay and the Day 4 a final 97 mile to Paris (we have been told that its mainly flat so that's okay then..).

So, wish us luck (we'll definitely need some) but also please help us to make this a trip to remember by sponsoring us as we embark on our challenge.  Our chosen charity is St Peter's Hospice.
