Story
Thank you so much for visiting my Justgiving page. I decided to climb (well walk up!) the Three Peaks when I reached my 50th birthday. It felt like time for me to set myself a little challenge! So a friend and I decided that we would climb them over the course of a year, all this "in a weekend" stuff would have been fine - 20 years ago!! We have successfully climbed Snowdon and Scafell, and I wanted to do Ben Nevis in memory of my Dad cos he loved the "great outdoors". Sadly he died a few years ago having suffered with Parkinsons for 10 long years, and so I hope you don't mind that I have let you know what I am doing, with the aim that I can raise some money for Parkinsons UK so they can continue to help those who are suffering, and their carers. I have no expectation, other than every little helps, and please feel no pressure, but if you would like to make any donation to this cause then I would be very grateful.
I personally am looking forward to having the celebratory glass (who said bottle?) of champagne which will mean we have done it, sometime next week!!! Fingers crossed for good weather and no more snow. THANK YOU!
