Sense Scotland is a Scottish charity and specialised social care provider supporting people with communication support needs associated with complex and sensory disabilities, and their families, where individual needs and choices come first.

Story

Ah hello, Hinton here.

Thank you for visiting my wee fundraising page.
I wanted to do something to support the QM Charity of the Year: Sense Scotland. Sense is a brilliant charity supporting thousands of families affected by deafblindness
I racked my brains for something that might be impressive enough to warrant lots of donations. When telling people I was going to be sober for the whole of October I was met with 'are you crazy?!', 'but Hinton, you absolutely love a drink!', 'You will never make a month without wine!' and so I think I have made the right choice.
Not drinking alcohol for a month may not be too much of a challenge for many but I think anyone who has met me will understand how this truly is a challenge for me. (Please note for reference: The image displayed is me on any other month of the year. Perched on a throne of booze with a pint of wine in hand)

I bloody love wine but I love making a difference to a charity even more (for this month at least).
So far I have survived 4 nights out, 2 dinner parties and a subcrawl without a drop touching my lips.

Please spread the word and donate for Sense Scotland.
