Story

Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page. BHPH is a partnership between Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and Hoima Regional Referral Hospital in Hoima, Uganda. It's aim is to improve the delivery of healthcare to the people of Hoima Region. Hoima Hospital serves a population of 1.2 million people and has about about one twentieth of our staff numbers.

The Charity is working in particular to improve maternal and child health. This year we sent five visiting teams of up to 11 volunteers for two weeks to Hoima. With your help we can continue to work with our colleagues in Hoima to make childbirth for mothers and babies safer.

Please dig deep this christmas and help us to help those less fortunate.

Thank you.

Rob Bates, Chairman BHPH
