I am on a new venture . . . a walking one . . not a running one. A team of 11 of us from The Pensions Regulator have signed up to do the London 2 Brighton Challenge - taking place on bank holiday weekend.  Those who know me best will be fully aware of my dislike of walking and more importantly my dislike of doing much after 2200 hours  . . so this is a big challenge for me.  Probably a bigger challenge mentally than physically as we will be expected to be awake for over 27 hours. So God help those who are going to put up with me during this. I have chosen Martlets Hospice as my charity as I do most of my charity fundraising for them as they provided amazing support  and care to a close friend Luke Richards and his family and also to a colleague Sam Smith. 

As a group we are looking to raise a whopping £10,000 for a number of different charities. 

I haven't pestered for sponsorship for a while now so please dig deep. It is muchly appreciated.
