Story
UPDATE! We both want to say a MASSIVE thankyou to everyone that has donated so far, we also wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately we have had to reschedule our run but we ARE still doing it. Kyli has unfortunately suffered with a chest problem that has affected us doing the run at this time and we feel that we would be doing an injustice to both ourselves and the people who have sponsored us if we were to start the run and not be able to finish it. We want to do this properly and so we have made the decision to restart our training and reschedule it for March, so that we can get back to preparing once we are both fit and healthy and continue to fundraise in the meanwhile. Thankyou all for your support!
I'm not sad because of what I've lost, I'm happy because of what I had. I'm not angry that it was taken away, but thankful that it was ever given. I'm not lonely because you're gone, I'm guided by what you taught me being here. I am happy that there was only one of you and I was priviledged enough to know you
On Saturday 16th October we will be running approximately 15 miles from Mablethorpe to Skegness along the coastline in honour and memory of Louise Lancaster/Harrison. All the money we raise will be going to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.
Our starting and finishing points will be the launch points for the rescue boats in both towns respectively.
We wanted to do something that we would find challenging and that wouldn't be easy for either of us. We are not particularly sporty or athletic people so it won't be easy!
Louise inspired so much with her strength, her character and her love for everyone she knew.
We have chosen this charity because of all the memories that we hold dear, we cherish the memories of the safe haven that she provided for us in our many visits to her seaside home.
We know that the money you donate will go towards the RNLI's work in keeping the coast a safe and happy place to be and that it will help many other families to grow up with wonderful memories of their time spent there.
Thankyou.
Holly and Kylie
