As a fan of the honey bee and through being involved with distributing honey products, I have also become a fan of Bees for Development as a charity and the excellent work it completes to help alleviate poverty in developing countries through beekeeping.
Nicola Bradbear and her team, supported by dedicated trustees complete invaluable work on behalf of communities in these countries by educating them on all areas of Apiculture. They deserve my support to allow them to continue their work for those less fortunate than me, to generate a food and income source and improve the biodiversity of the environment they live.
So I intend to complete a cycle ride from North Wales to St Andrews, Scotland in September 2011 (approx 300 miles in 4 days) as a personal challenge and to help this charity.
