It's upon us again - the WINDSOR HALF-MARATHON Sunday 27 Sept @ 1.00 pm

This year I'm hoping we can help our local White Lodge Centre, in Chertsey  ( see below left  ), and Marie Curie Cancer Care.             Any cash donations collected will also be shared between these two.

Training is going  very well ( 15 x 13 mi. interspersed by 30 x 6.5 mi. runs so far in 2009  ).     I'll be doing the Colne Valley 10 k., near Colchester this weekend.   Back in Windsor, I'll be trying very hard to beat last year's time of  2 hr. 04 min., providing the flesh isn't weak !   Also, my youngest daughter , Holly, who just turned 20, will be running the H-M.  " Go get 'em, Hol ".

Thankyou to everybody who gave so generously last  year.  Together we helped charities benefit by over £1100. It's so exciting to see each donation drop onto the page, and your combined goodwill gives me an invisible and irrefutable push toward the finish.
