Hampshire Deaf have given me the chance to throw myself out of a plane at 10,000 feet strapped to a stranger and glide down to the floor all in the name of charity.. sound like fun? imagine the view!!
Hampshire Deaf are a local charity based in southampton, they are all wonderful people and help those who suffer from hearing disabilities.
All im asking is for people to donate anywhere from £2 - £10 to keep this charity going and to help others who are deaf.
How will Hampshire Deaf Association use your donation ….
£10 will pay for a deaf child to attend a play day and take part in activities run by deaf role models
£12 will pay for a deaf child to attend a Christmas party and have the chance to meet a “Singing Santa”
£15 will pay for a young D/deaf person to take part in an activity day that builds their confidence, independence and encourages team working and self-development
£20 will pay for a Community Support Worker to visit an older D/deaf person and help them with their shopping, bills or just be there to listen to them.
£100 will pay for a Deaf Awareness Trainer to visit a school and teach hearing and D/deaf children about deafness and ways to communicate with D/deaf people.
