On 10th July 2010, various teams from Hughes completed the gruelling (but rewarding!) 3 Peaks Challenge. For those that are unaware of what is involved, we climbed the three highest peaks in England, Wales and Scotland. First stop was Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands, followed by Scafell Pike in the Lake District, finishing with Snowdon in Wales. We are pleased to announce that the majority of the group completed the task in 'mixed' conditions within the target time of 24 hours. 

We would like to thank all those who have supported our chosen charity - Willen Hospice - a fantastic organisation based in Milton Keynes that provides specialist care for people whose illness no longer responds to curative treatment. People living in the area will be familiar with Willen Hospice either through local publicity or, sadly, in some cases their own personal experience. Those that have had that close personal experience will be well aware of the amazing work that is carried out in supporting people and making their lives as comfortable as possible during very difficult times. As an organisation based in Milton Keynes, Hughes is therefore honoured to be able to support such a charity. Any further donations are greatly received, but once again, a big 'thank you' to all those who donated.
