Motor Neurone Disease is a terrible disease. We lost a friend (Jean Newton) in 2010, and another friend has just been diagnosed. It seems that everyone I speak to knows someone or has lost someone from MND.

At the moment, it is incurable. So I ran the London Marathon on Palm Sunday to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association to help families and to help people who have this disease.

A Marathon is 26.2 miles - I ran it in 4hrs 33 mins 37secs this year - and I wanted to run the last mile in bare feet, in honour of those who can’t afford shoes (but the blisters were too bad).

If you don’t like using the internet, then catch me to sign a sponsorship form or send a cheque made out to MNDA to my address (contact me through Justgiving if you don’t know the address and I’ll email it to you).
