<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans 2010;">Motor Neurone Disease is a terrible disease.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We lost a friend (Jean Newton) in 2010, and another friend has just been diagnosed.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>It seems that everyone I speak to knows someone or has lost someone from MND.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></p>

<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans 2010;"><span style="font-size: small;">At the moment, it is incurable.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>So I ran the London Marathon on Palm Sunday to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association to help families and to help people who have this disease.</span></span></p>

<p style="margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt;" class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Comic Sans 2010;"><span style="font-size: small;">A Marathon is 26.2 miles - I ran it in 4hrs 33 mins 37secs this year - and I wanted to run the last mile in bare feet, in honour of those who can’t afford shoes (but the blisters were too bad).<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span></span></span></p>
