<p>Hussein is a young lad from Kibera slums. He's doing well in form 3 at secondary school but hearing loss resulting from a perforated eardrum is holding him back. With his hearing impaired, Hussein finds daily life a challenge.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>A simple operation will patch the eardrum and give Hussein his hearing back. However, coming from the slums, the cost of the operation is well beyond his and his foster-family's reach. With your help, we can give Hussein the chance to hear the world again.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>If you can give just &pound;10 - that's the sacrifice of a meal out, a trip to the cinema or the cost of two and a half bus tickets in Brighton - then we only need 39 others to do the same and the cost of the operation is covered.
