A Celebration of International Day of the Midwife

May 5th, 2010       11am-5pm

Thank you for wishing to attend our celebration of International Day of the Midwife (IDM).

Please ensure you have emailed Laura Bridle at nursebridle@hotmail.com to ensure there is still availability to attend the day prior to making your donation of £10 for students and £15 for waged. There is no way to refund your ticket if you cannot attend, but I can give your ticket to another person if you email me the name of the person replacing you, thanks.

Please feel free to donate more than is requested as all money raised is going to White Ribbon Alliance.

The day will be host to Annie Francis, an independent midwife, Dr Angie Wilson, a midwifery lecturer, Lorna Bland, chairman from Surrey SANDS, Felicity Ukoko from White RIbbon Alliance and Jenny Carter, a research midwife.

We have chosen to fundraise for White Ribbon Alliance as the theme for this years IDM is " The world needs midwives now more than ever."

White Ribbon Alliance is an amazing organisation that is an international coalition of individuals and organizations formed to promote increased public awareness of the need to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for all women and newborns in the developing, as well as, developed countries.

Upon donating please email Laura Bridle at nursebridle@hotmail.com who will send you your registration details and information on how and where to attend.

Thank you very much and look forward to seeing you on May 5th 2010!
