Founded in 2003, IJS Consultants are a leading independent Safety and Risk Management Consultancy with offices throughout the UK.

IJS Consultants has a proud history of raising funds for charitable causes.  Each year we embark on a series of fundraising events and donate the money raised to a number of charities as selected by the IJS staff.

Staff of IJS Consultants have selected the CLIC Sargent as one of their Charities of the Year for 2010-2012.

In order to raise funds for our previous Charities of the Year, the IJS team have completed the “Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge”, a trek over the summits of Ingleborough, Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside as well as enduring the “Coast to Coast Bike-ride” from Whitehaven to Tynemouth, raising in excess of £8550 in the process.

The IJS team respect the fine work that CLIC Sargent does and want to help ensure that this work may continue.

CLIC Sargent is the UK's leading children's cancer charity, supporting children and their families through cancer and leukaemia every step of the way.

Every day 10 families are told their child has cancer. Diagnosis often comes as a shock. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last up to three years.

CLIC Sargent help as many children and young people as possible survive cancer and make the most of their lives. They help the whole family cope with the trauma of cancer, life after treatment and, in some cases, with bereavement. They also make sure that young people with cancer and their families can speak out about their needs and get involved in how the charity meets them.
