The Italian Job 2009 · 19 October 2009
This year Team 81 is taking part in the Italian Job, a navigational rally starting in Italy on the 19th October and finishes in England on the 31st October. This Italian Job is very special as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the rally.
Each year the Italian Job raises vital funds for children's charities. To date the event has raised in excess of 2 million pounds to help children in need. This year the Italian Job is raising funds for Kids Out.
KidsOut helps disadvantaged children and young people - irrespective of background or circumstance - up to the age of 18, throughout the UK.Many of the children Kids Out help have physical, health, social or learning difficulties, while others face less obvious challenges - such as coming from turbulent or financially deprived backgrounds. The children Kids Out help include: children in shelter, children with life limiting illnesses, young carers, children with physical and learning difficulties, children from low income households and children from black and ethnic minority communities.
We would value any donations and thank you in advance for your generosity in giving to a charity that provides such a valuable service to our community.
