Story
A'slaamualaykum and hello!
In the blessed month of Ramadan, the Communication Department at Inspirited Minds have gone back to the roots of Islam and have decided to give up those precious moments of the morning where we would usually eat to our fill (before sunrise) - to an odd number of dates and water. Just like our Prophet (pbuh) did. It will be difficult not to give into all those cravings, especially post taraweeh (night prayer) when you want some cheeky peri-peri, or give into those sugary whispers, but we will, because we care.
Care about what?
We do not want anyone to suffer from mental health problems alone, face rejection, be stigmatized or feel as if though they cannot "afford" help.
With your generous donations, we promise that 100% of it will go towards providing counselling for those who need it the most, producing vital materials making mental health for Muslims more accessible, projects with the utmost compassion, conducting workshops and events that serve the community and most importantly, give a voice to those who are silenced.
We are a relentless and passionate bunch, and we hope that you will support us this Ramadan!
