<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: &quot;Trebuchet MS&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;;">A record forty boats, grouped into four classes, entered this year’s event. Thirty nine boats set of at five minute intervals beginning at 13:30. With a drop in wind speed from 10.1 to a low of 5.2 it was a slow passage out to The Nab, allowing some the opportunity to try their hand at catching mackerel. For others it would result in them making a decision to retire. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: &quot;Trebuchet MS&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;;">The wind picked up again around 16:00 facilitating a much quicker home passage. First over the line was ‘Unruly’ followed by a plethora of Sunbeams with ‘Euphoria’ and ‘Blink’ in amongst them.
